Mercurio is a project born from the meeting between choreographer and performer Luna Cenere and composer, improviser and saxophonist Antonio Raia.
By definition, the characteristic of this metal is to assemble in itself antithetical properties, being a heavy element but also volatile. A research that also takes its cue from astronomy and reaches as far as mythology: of which the symbol brings together the ideograms of the Sun Moon and Earth. A theme, a symbol, to enclose the reflections arising from the sharing of practices, postures and knowledge and -at the same time- a metaphor containing the duality of the masculine-feminine, of obliquity of meaning and transversality, without excluding the dimension of travel and risk.
